Super Saddle Ring Intalox Saddle Ring (25mm 38mm 50mm 76mm)

Ceramic Saddle Rings (Ceramic Saddles, also named as Ceramic Saddle Ring) are one of the types of industrial packing. They are made of electrotechnical ceramics and are used to fill the packed columns and other heat and mass transfer equipment with the invasive environment. Ceramic Saddles Intalox are available to the order of sizes: 1" (25 mm), 1.5" (37 mm), 2" (50 mm), 3" (75 mm). Intalox saddles relate to irregular acid-resistant packing

The surface of the Intalox saddle is part of the torus. Compared to Raschig rings, Intalox saddles with the same size of packed bodies have a 25% larger specific surface area and a slightly larger free volume. Saddle-backed packing has less hydraulic resistance and greater efficiency, than the Raschig rings. Our Advantages

1) These saddles are made from chemical porcelain and have excellent resistance to acids except in the case of hydrofluoric acid.

2) Moisture absorption must less than half a percent.

3) The porcelain's specific gravity is 2.3-2.4g/cm3 and an average heat capacity (between 20ºC and 500ºC of 0.22 cal/g.ºC)

4) Ceramic saddles softening point is 1400ºC min. And they show good thermal shock resistance during repeated cycling between 20ºC and 820 ºC.

 

Applications

• Ceramic pall ring can be used in high or low temperature conditions.

• It can be used in the drying columns, absorbing columns, cooling towers, scrubbing towers in chemical industry, metallurgy industry, coal gas industry, oxygen producing industries, etc.
